Director of Member Engagement

Position Overview:

As the Director of Member Engagement, you will play a vital role in fostering strong relationships with members, understanding their needs, and facilitating connections with suitable vendor relationships. You will be responsible for driving sales with Rockhead vendor programs by effectively engaging members and creating opportunities for collaboration. This role requires a strategic mindset, exceptional communication skills, and a keen understanding of the industry landscape.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Member Engagement Strategy:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive member engagement strategy to drive member satisfaction and retention.
  • Proactively identify member needs, preferences, and challenges to ensure a personalized approach to engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engagement efforts with organizational goals and objectives.

 

2. Member Communication and Education:

  • Develop and deliver effective communication strategies to keep members informed about vendor programs, new offerings, and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with the team to organize and conduct educational events, webinars, and workshops to enhance member knowledge and engagement
  • Act as a trusted advisor to members, providing guidance in selecting the most appropriate vendor solutions tailored to their needs throughout the membership duration, including onboarding and ongoing support.

 

3. Vendor Relationship Management:

  • Possess an expert-level understanding of Vendor program benefits and actively collaborate to effectively communicate these benefits through Rockhead’s marketing outlets, including the website and social media platforms.
  • Share vendor best practices and provide guidance to help vendors integrate into the group effectively.
  • Collaborate with Executive Director on agreements with vendors, ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between members and vendors, acting as a liaison to address concerns and facilitate resolution.

 

4. Sales and Revenue Generation:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth in Rockhead vendor programs.
  • Identify and leverage opportunities to promote vendor programs and products to members, maximizing sales potential.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and generate reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

 

Other Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Willingness to travel in order to cultivate and strengthen relationships, as well as attend 3-4 Rockhead live events annually.
  • Attend bi-weekly member calls & weekly team calls via Zoom.
  • Track communication and member participation.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proven experience in the granite industry
  • Strong understanding of sales strategies, revenue generation, and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience in vendor relationship management and negotiation.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and leverage opportunities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Knowledge of the industry landscape, trends, and emerging technologies.
